Sounds like what happened to my car when a spark plug broke. Was running fine, started it back up and it was idling like shit and threw a misfire code. Yanked the plugs and found 1 of the 4 to be broken.

Car fixed!

Here is the plug from #4.

No idea honestly why it was causing issues, it looks fine. But we swapped the 4 spark plug before anything else and bam, problem solved. Threw in one of my older plugs and she runs great again. Also, we made sure they were all gapped at .022", so we are good there.

I came back and do have a leak somewhere in my fuel assembly, maybe part of the fuel pickup problem? Don't know. There was a small patch of gas that I think came from when I prime the lines before starting, I always turn the key with the clutch out and I am guessing one of the lines out of the tank, maybe around my check valve is leaking. We pulled the fuel pump assembly too and looked at all that, and it looks good. Made a few adjustments and tightened everything down.

Bottom line, car runs all pretty again! Yay. Now my new OEM fuel pump hanger will be here soon and then I am on to moving back to a single pump. Game on.

Thanks a ton again Shawn (simulatedwood), you da man.

Yeah, I know Aaron! WTF.. you never need my help! TPAL!

I am just glad this was easy, last thing we need is Dave selling the Evo at a fire sale price.

I'll always take the help of anyone, especially a car guy.

X2 on the fire sale, that would blow.

Turn the spark plug upside down. Does the insulator fall over the electrode?

Negative ghost rider. The "bad" plug appears to be fine looking at it, strange deal.
