So tonight while doing a WOT run, the car felt like it hit a wall. I thought maybe it was IC pipe or wastegate arm that popped off...nope none of that.
Spent like an hour reviewing logs and finally found that in my map the MAF tables above 3.4V were all messed up. Found out the MAF table either got corrupted or Jon just pasted the wrong stuff in for the high volt side. Anyway, glad it wasn't anything major, I was seriously like omg wtf just happened, As the car seriously flatlined (i thought the motor was toast again :() but its just that it fuel cut essentially... but it lives to fight another day!
So, reviewed the cruise/idle logs. Mine are within 1-2%, car drives better than stock now.
It's just WOT and partial boost pulls now, no more cruising around aimlessly.

So Jon also showed me this which I have seen screenshots of before but never knew what it was. $25 for this software which is apparently ECUtek hacked, but damn, it makes reading logs so much damn easier.
Here is just a few quick shots of me playing around with it.
WOT run from dyno above. (411whp one or whatever)

Same run...as you can see MAP (Speed density) is the red line, MAF calc is the grey and actual load is the blue.
Just so you can see how the Evo X ecu looks at those.

Latest pull today....car felt pretty damn good.

Still a spot during spool where I think MAF drops a bit low and it leans out a bit, but Jon will clean that up :)
Car honestly felt awesome for the first time in months, very smooth, and actually a bit of pep now!

Nice! Now leave it alone and bring it to the PG :)

^Can't, must smooth out the pump gas tune a bit more. It's still very very conservative. 10's AFR's and I think I just barely hitting 13* of timing up top.
Not sure what timing is safe on pump at 10:1 compression, I am guessing 14-15 is still "safe" but I will let the professional deal with that. I think I will be close to 500whp with a bit more fuel work, bit more boost and smoothing out.
Not looking to break records with the pump tune at all.
Then comes E85 fun. I think to even be close to competitive at PG i will need an E85 tune. I don't think I will do great there but the better I do the more fun I will have.

When you get it tuned on corn lets run. From a roll or a dead stop

Sure, hopefully I will be putting corn in the car by this weekend.
oh, another bit of playing with logviewer.
Here is another shot (better) of map calcs vs. maf calcs. Look how ugly the maf line is, then how nice the map line is...then notice how smooth load follows it!

Looks like this new set up should make for a very real tuned car. You going to break 500 at db?

Don't know...I would assume. Even on Shane's conservative tune my car hit 494 at DB last fall on E70. With more fine tuning and a lil boost I don't see why not.
My real goal has always been 600whp on a dynojet which is like 520ish on DB's dyno. We will see if I get there. Not going to push it but if it happens I will be happy. If not I have a few more mods to add yet (intake manifold and throttle body) then its on to a bigger turbo if I really want to add more power which I don't think i do. My car feels like a great balance of response/top end as I could expect out of a 4 cylinder (in an evo X at least).
