335i will smoke a M3 with just a couple of mods (even around a track). M3 is more exclusive and cooler though. M3 is very difficult to mod too. Let me know if you ever want a ride Murlo!
Sure thing, I'll have to bug sometime for one.
Problem with a newer BMW is I would basically be trading two cars for one and not really have any extra money :( Especially if I went with an M3, I would need to get a slightly used one then I think.
Anyway...for now the Evo stays lol...I will just let it play out a bit and see where it all goes.

Can I get a ride?
I know it would smoke it, but would be cheaper is what I was thinking and still decent power.

Just posted this on evox forums:
So, I think I am parting some of my car out. Going to post up a FS thread this weekend.
I have more debt right now than I am comfortable with (t4 conversion cost me 2k more than I figured it would after all was said and done) and I need some revenue.
I first was going to sell my whole car but that is a tough sale I would lose a TON of money and probably regret it. So I came up with a good idea (I think), downgrade.
I am going to part out the MAP t4 kit, wally 400 pump and FIC2150's to start. I am then going to take insurance off teh evo and store it for a few months to recoup. I honestly haven't fully recovered from the two engine builds two years ago in a row. They were close to 20k and I had to borrow and owe like 600 on those still so I want to get rid of that and my CC debt.
My plan is going to be move to a smaller setup to mitigate my risk as well. I am thinking an Ef2 or 2.5, probably the two. I have even considered the stock turbo as well and go for some stock turbo records and maybe start doing some other forms of driving (road course).
Just to put it out there, I love my car and the current setup, it is beast. Great tune from Baka, great setup from MAP. But I am starting to get a bit sick of spending kilobucks on this thing every year lol. I could've paid half my mortgage off almost, well 1/3, if I invested the evo money there.
I am just to the point where there are too many other things in life that I need to start putting some attention/money there.
I will still be around with this method (not selling the evo) and I will still have a bad ass setup, just not uber. I will also run a much lower risk of blowing stuff up not pushing a 2.2L motor to 800HP haha. And honestly with how strapped I am right now I haven't even wanted to drive the car because if it breaks I can't fix it.
So bottom line, time to be smarter with my financials and wait until I have a better cash reserve before going a bit bigger.
I will probably be looking for a stock mani and a few other items (ID1000's) in 2 months or so but for now I need cash.
The evo will continue to move forward, just much slower lol.
Anyone wanna help pull some parts off soon? :)
Time to dial things back a bit.

Probably a smart move financially.

We could get some vinyls made that say, S2Kracka Edition, and slather them on the sides ala 311RS.
But yea, if the stress of breaking your car outweighs the enjoyment you receive from driving it, then it's time to re-think the game plan.

...and I offer this for the low low cost of only $20k!!!
*edit*
Hell, my car is paid off...just sell yours as-is, buy mine, and I'll get a C7 Z51!

Agreed. Too bad you didn't get to enjoy it for longer in full beast mode before parting some of it out.

reminder: its nice out, its summer, the car is in good working order.
Enjoy it for a few months as-is and tear it apart this fall.
Turn the boost down if you are worried :)
