They are technically 1300's, but DW found me a set that flows 1400cc at base pressure:) So I call them DW1400's!

I thought about asking in Scheides thread, but I didn't want to cloud up his when I have my own.

Motor mount, so you guys think just the front should be enough? Is it a power level thing at all? I plan to hit 500 on DB's dyno at one point or another.

Any durometer recommendations? Or can I do like what Scheides did and drill some of it out if needed.

I think you'll be fine with just the front. If you do want to do the rear mount then now is the time while the motor is out.

Stiffness is something you'll have to ask yourself, how much engine vibration do you want transmitted to the rest of the car?

I would get just the front and go with AMS' 70A durometer to start with and drill holes in it if you find it too stiff. With how stiff the X chassis is a 90A would transmit a lot of vibrations to the cabin and become very irritating on a street car. Now on the VIII/IX's a 90A front mount is about right for a street car.

2nd question then:

i can just get the insert right? or is it really hard to press it in?

Most shops or TKR Mark can can press it in for you. With a press it only takes a few seconds and probably would cost you a 6-pack of beer at most.

K, i'll probably order up the front mount to start with.

I plan to 1/4 mile the car though, so i am guessing the front mount will help the most, are the others really that much more helpful?

The front alone is just enough to really firm up the shifts. Worry about the other three when you're trying to find that last thousandth of a second ;)

Cool, thanks Kracka. I'll just go with the front for now then :)
