The car wasn't intended to be a project vehicle when I bought it, lol.

They never are. You do one thing and then you can't stop.

Well I planned on modding it quite a bit but I never dreamed of the amount I have. So I guess your comment still applies :)

Wait you do what now?
In all fairness a turbo kit for your car is $4000+, a turbo upgrade for an X is less than half that, even with injectors and a tune! You know if there was a $1500 upgraded turbo you'd be all over it!

Gains for the price is why we own these cars. I wouldn't mod a BMW or Audi either.

Actually I probably wouldnt, just do to how I know modded cars go. Im at a safe point right now that I dont need any more power because I dont want the headache that goes along with it. haha
Im getting old. Carry on hehe.
When you add up all the stuff you put into mitsus, its not just 1500... You planned to run a stockish setup scheides, until your motor went. :( Its a never ending battle.

Speaking of turbo kits I am starting to weight the options of switching to t3 now...I really want a tubular manifold...but at that point all the pieces I bought for the Fpblack to work I could've went t3 from the get go. The bolt on turbo is appealing because you can piece it together but if I sell everything I could probably get the majority of what's needed for a t3 kit.
What got me thinking this is the thread on EvoM about the Fpblack vs the GTX3076r...Michael at ETS said he could do that turbo in a kit for 3800. So if sell the black my downpipe, UICP and I guess my intake too I would be only a 1000-1200 away or so probably if I get the prices I think I could.
Then I would be setup for t3 too for more future upgrades.
Also the GTX3076r would spool faster than my black it looks like, probably 3600-3800 full spool and make as much or more power by the looks of the charts.
Hmmm....
