Don't be like Chkmgnt...constant work in progress, then once it's finally done get fed-up and sell it. That's what happens when you don't stop and actually allow yourself to enjoy the car while it's in process.

Plus..Don't think of the PG as just a event, think of it as a 3-day Mitsustyle cruise, with lots of nightly festivities, and driving with a hangover. 2 things we are good at. ;)
LOL! It's so true.

It might be just as easy as getting a check valve for the 2nd pump...but I need to pull the pump out sometime to look at it to get an appropriate one.
I am trying to make it, I have been working on it tons lately, like every night for weeks. But I am starting to run out of steam a bit and work is getting really bad. But we shall see, I could always just run pump gas there instead of e85 just to make it there.

Do it!
Working on cars is no fun when you're allready stressed and rundown... that's how mistakes get made.

Just run it at lower power, like 350-400, and run the road course instead.

Hmmm, interesting...I wouldn't mind doing that. But I still need to get my fuel pressure stuff sorted, then its just tuning.
The car/tune is all jacked up as it was looking for a higher base pressure so I need to do that first.

It's so crazy how much time and money you've put into this car and it still has issues..

What sort of check valve are you going to use? I have a -6 in/out one way fuel valve that I used on the V when I was having issues with the siphon letting fuel back into the tank.
Looks something like this but a little bigger:

Not sure yet, I need to pull the backseat and do some measuring. The two pumps meet at a Y outside the tank, so I am thinking of replacing part of the hose with a check valve.
The size I haven't figured out yet.

Oh nice, if you have enough room outside the tank that would be a lot easier than trying to fit the check valve inside the tank.
Is the Y fitting AN or barbed?
