If it's that bad, what a disgrace.
The stock Evo X tank is bad news on a road course. I haven't talked to anyone into road course that hasn't experienced fuel starvation in turns. Locally Evoatcha is an instructor at BIR and he keeps his tank above 1/2 at all times since he doesn't have a surge tank. At 5mpg that is a lot of work.
Yeah Aaron, it's surprising that nobody has come up with a less expensive solution. Drag (acceleration) and 1g turns/braking have the same effect.

We should probably get this discussion into your thread, but I'd like to study the tank a bit and try to brainstorm a better/simpler solution then what's out there now.

Let's see him take some turns at BIR with less than 1/2 tank. No, you can't drive like a pansy. lol.
Just put some gas in that bitch and drive...unless you burn half a tank in 1 run.

He was going to go to C&C in the morning so he's probably like me...one too many beers and should probably be in bed. lol.

Dyno vid today...dynojet numbers...confirming that the estimates were pretty damn close. I didn't run my power tune until the second run (tried the DD tune first), so I probably would've been another 5whp or so closer to my original shootout guess of 583, still 570 is pretty damn good i think.
My DD tune pulled 525 whp!
