Shane got my car on the dyno super late last night. He said it's "better" than it was but the progressive pump still allows too much back-flow when compared to a dual GSS342 setup. Said he could only get 200hp without the second pump turned on.

I'm tired of dinking with it. BlaqOPs has a Hobb switch in the mail so I'll just convert to the tried-and-true method. It looks like the progressive pump only works in the stock pump housing because the Y connector that he uses on that setup doesn't produce the back-pressure that the Full Blown housing does.

Would def appreciate that. The only one that I'm aware of screws into the valve cover (passenger front of it). Unless that Boomba can has a built-in check valve then the intake is probably pressurizing the can right now. I need to check that the next time I'm at DB.

The Kracka vents install inline on one of the hoses? I haven't ordered them yet...want to figure out what I'm going to do first.

Yup you'd just put the Kracka Vents between the catch can and IM, to keep pressure in the IM but allow vacuum to suck air from the crank case/valve cover. Talk to kracka before ordering, I bet he can get you them direct at a good price ;)

Checking on the boomba can would be easy, just pull both of the hoses and blow through the one going to the IM. If you can feel *any* air coming out of the VC side, there's no checkvalve in there, and that's bad. The stock PCV can do some, but a beefier setup is def nicer.

Well that sucks man...hopefully you get this sorted out. I think i heard your car on the dyno when Danny called me at like 8 pm, haha.

Those guys are going to need a vacation soon big time.

I have exchanged a couple PMs with him. I decided to go with another brand since I found some shiny, bling ones. I found some pictures of how they get installed and that couldn't be easier.

That was the plan! I'm not going to rely on it but I'm curious now because 'Hollywood' on EvoXforums was complaining about his Boomba can blowing up and not getting replaced under warranty. If they are getting pressurized then that would explain it but they have in/out ports on them so there might be a valve there.

The email was at 11:30pm. When it's a two-guy shop then I imagine that vacations are difficult to take...

Same here, I heard a car on the dyno around 8:30, I was really surprised to get a call that late.

Good luck figuring out the fuel pump issues, I hate when stupid issues cause such large setbacks like this.

I got the new wiring harness (a Hobbs switch & relay) from BlaqOPs and I got half-way to DB when I remembered something....BlaqOPs had cut off the standard Walbro power connector in the second pump position because their progressive unit uses spades for the power connection.

Damn. I drove back home and just sent an email to Full Blown. I hope LJ can hook me up.

LJ has what I need. I'll go to DB after work tomorrow to swap in the new setup.

We stock a bunch of them. Swing by anytime Mike.
