Spent some time looking at aero and body kits this afternoon. Ran across the Varis Evo X for 2009. Way too expensive, but I want it bad.

Why stop now?

Speaking of stopping, what have you done in the way of brake upgrades?

Maybe I'll do a body kit in a year or two if I get bored. I need to stop for the obvious reason--I'm out of money.

I have a Girodisc stage 3 kit w/Ferodo DS2500 pads in the works. Ron is going to see if the discount is good enough to be worth becoming a dealer and getting the parts through him (instead of just ordering it online myself).

Be wary of using Motul 600 fluid in a street car since it needs flushing every 6 months, if thats more frequent than you'd like look for a longer lasting performance fluid such as the ATE Blue. The DS2500's are great street pads, just be aware that they are very dusty so if that bothers you you may want to search for another option.

Thanks, I didn't know that. I actually just starting thinking about brakes yesterday but have had my eye on that kit for a little while.

Two piece rotors make me hot in the pants.

Is the two peice rotors mainly for heat reduction? I wouldnt think it would be for strength because a one peice would be much stronger.

Upgrading your brakes? I'm still on the damn single piston 1g brakes. I would be in heaven if I had some stock evo brakes.

They weigh a lot less; aluminum hat with a steel ring.
