How many times do I have to explain this? I live in a condo and the car lives in a parking ramp. I'm not going to impose on friends or drive 30+ miles each way to a relative's house just to change the oil.
I'd thought about dropping by RS but I'd imagine they're as busy as DB is this time of year and somethign like an oil change is a waste of their time.
There is always someone here willing to help out, especially for a 15 minute oil change. Just ask!

Just because people don't make a lot at there jobs, doesn't mean one can't take pride in their work.
LOL, okay sir.
Let it be noted that pride and competence are completely separate fields in life though.

I am not saying I don't agree with you, I am just saying there are people that still take pride in their jobs even though they are ones that do not pay well.
And yes I agree with ability to do a job well does not coincide with pride. There are plenty of people that don't take pride in their work but can do it very well.

I'm willing to bet there are more DIY oil change fails than chain shop fails. With that being said I still do all my own oil changes and wouldn't trust most shops, but I'm super anal/picky about type of oil and filter used.

I've had a few shit jobs in my day. I was an oil change/tire guy for the first two years out of high school.
I also took a part time job for a while at Computer City when they were still in business. I'd have customers come in and treat me like crap even though I knew way more than they did due to my day job. I was only making like $7/hr there and ultimately quit because I was overqualified and got tired of being talked down to regardless of what I knew.
In any case, I have had good luck with this location in Eagan...took my Subaru there for years. The supervisor has a built truck with 400whp. We talked about his setup for a while.

Got the Summer tires on. The Rays lugs were a real disappointment. Their 'secure' lugs uses a design that seems guaranteed to permanently wedge the lug into the special socket if you apply any meaningful torque (like say 80 ft/lbs). Luckily it happened on the first secure lug so I ran to Pep Boys and got a $10 set instead. ftl.
Got the front strut tower bar back on...then went to the car wash. Tomorrow I'm going to try to get the rear tower brace, RalliArt tails and wing on...if there is time. Doesn't look like the weather will be nice enough to bother taking pictures.
Nice to have the wheels out of the living room! Bought this cover so that I don't get chewed out for storing stuff on the balcony. Hopefully it looks good enough for them to not hassle me. I already got one lecture from the security guard for changing my tires in the ramp...lied and said that tire was flat (was doing them one at a time anyway).

Haha that's awesome out on your deck! if they give you crap about them lmk, I have some space in the attic of my garage. Now that I actually have a ladder I've been using it more and more. Jealous about the ralliart tails, those will look nice!

Decided to snap a couple crappy pics in the ramp, anyway. I think the width of the tires is pretty much perfect. These are RE30's in 18x9.5 +28 w/Star Specs in 265/35.
I'm not going to get too aggressive with the drop (when I go to Jeff) but I need at least an inch.
