I don't think anyone wants their car to be down now that it's warm out.

*sigh* I'm with you man.

murlo, don't practice too much on the street, the conditions on the track will be slightly different. Just try rolling off the line a few times, focus on getting down the track and through the gears smoothly. Then worry about getting aggressive :)

Dont worry. I had to wait over a month just to get my head resurfaced and some valve springs installed.. It will be all worth it once you get it back. Also Murlo, launching with a 6-puck, you REALLY need to slip the clutch out. A LOT. They like to bite and grab very quickly.

I didn't have to slip the 6 puck in my dsm hardly at all. It grabbed so quickly that the tires just spun through first unless I pedaled it. It actually pulled harder if I didn't let it slip much. I can't wait to get the 6 puck into the 240. :)

Um, I would say you need to practice on the street as much as you can really, more practice the better, assuming you go to RFR or BIR, it will be a lot more slick there, my car always felt like it hooked better on the street.

I've been to both tracks.
