I'll have your cable back in the cities tomorrow evening, I can bring it over to ya if you like!
410whp at only 26psi and 15 degrees of timing? That is a damn conservative tune for your setup
I'll be gone for Baxter by then but it's cool...I went to O'Reillys and pulled the code with their loaner. Shane warned me about the plugs before I left DB and sure enough, it's not happy. If the M40XL's don't make it behave then I'll try swapping the stock coils on (some people say that the Okadas are actually worse than stock on the X).

Ok man, I'm heading down from Fergus Falls, so if you wanna meet up, I have it in the car with me. Shane will have his so I imagine it'll be NBD. I was hoping to have a box from tactrix in the mail weds, then thurs, then friday (USPS is kinda botching this one) with ODB2 extenders and SD cards for laptop-less logging, but no luck :( We'll get that going over the next week or two and you'll be able to do full logs while on track w/o any interuption/hassle :)

I'd imagine he's coming back on Sunday night. He might see me driving in the other direction. :)
They keep the track well utilized over the Summer--there's often a few events running at the same time.

The misfiring on my car is not a good thing but it runs well once it's hot.
I did a WOT pull from 2-3 on the way to work last night and I was like :drive1:

So it looks like Shane didn't rev it out much yet? Waiting for the retune for that?
You going to use all 9k rpm's of the tach or what?

I was up a Brainerd a little bit on Saturday to see the NASA race and ran into shane there. Never seen a real race before. It is making me a little more motivated to work on my track car project.
Good luck up there!

My brother and I met up with scheides & Anna in St Cloud. He helped me to bump the idle up by 100rpm and that made the car much easier to deal with. It's still misfiring now and then but at least it stays running. I did a 1-2-3 pull in a deserted business district and it is beastly enough for me.

I had asked him to go 8k on the regular tune and I've run it up there a handful of times. The BBX is still making power so we'll go 9k on the "tune for numbers" next week.
So far there is no evidence of the car burning oil. Unless that changes I suspect that the turbo is fine.

Sweetness. Sadly though, you get used to the power after a bit. Lucky for you it just keeps going back for more, haha.
If idle is bad, keep going up till it gets better. Some rx7's idle at 2000rpm. :D

So you had the car at BIR today right? How was it?
