It all worked out fine, it was a little tougher to manuever over the plywood lip but not a big deal.

Fram, yeah yeah... don't have a good excuse for that one.

I know I'm way past a day late and a dollar short, but I just discovered this truck bedlining/underbody coating stuff.
It's available with colors too, and you can even do your garage floors. Match the bean!

Ha nice man. Too late though, just gunna rock it how it is at this point.

Got home and had a couple packages waiting for me.

Engine gasket kit:

Billet shortenen shifter bracket, to move the shifter more forward to better place the shifter. The shifter will still end up a few inches more back than the stock one was, but this is as short as it can get. So might have to modify the hole in the tunnel, as well as figure out what I'm going to do with the interior trim.

Also looks like my new clutch was attempted to be delivered but they delivered it requiring a signature and I've been on my honeymoon :( So hopefully it's still sitting at FedEx tomorrow and I can go get it.

And my Rideskinz rear bumper lip is supposed to ship out tomorrow as well :)

Spoke with Kevin @ Schneider Cams today for about 15 minutes. He helped me decide on a cam profile that he feels will work well with my setup.

Ended up with the following grind:
Intake and Exhaust cams: 268 duration, 9.0mm max lift

He said to go with the higher lift he'd really end up removing a lot of material, and since I'm going with the longer 268 duration (rather than 264), it should work out well for a street mannered car.

Total came to less than $300, including his shipping :) Can't beat that at all, my other option would have been around 450 per cam. He said he expects them to ship out in the next 1-2 days. Hell of a quick turnaround!

I'll post pics once I receive them, but so far their customer service, and turn around time has been 2nd to none.

They must have some small cams stock, if 9.0mm is an upgrade.

No idea what the stock measurements are. I'll ask them what they are since I'm pretty sure they measured them when they arrived.

For comparison sake, 9.0 is what the HKS 264's are. The TTC 268's are 9.1".

I found these numbers on the interwebz for comparison sake, no idea how accurate they are.

2JZ-GE stock cams:
Lift = 8.3 / 8.3
Duration = 230 / 230

2JZ-GTE stock cams:
Lift = 8.25 / 8.4
Duration = 233 / 236

Schneider Grind I bought:
Lift = 9.0 / 9.0
Duration = 268 / 268
