Yeah, but I should be able to do a lot better than 2.1 on my drag radials I'd think.

With street tires I dont think you want to leave on boost.... you will spin for sure. Wish I could of watched this thing make a pass. Get some better tires in the back amd work on that 60 foot. With the power and your weight you got 10s in it forsure. Your car is no joke from what I see on the time slip. Once you can get the car hooking and leaving hard then mess with 2 step and other stuff. Boost by gear would be nice to. Idk if you do all that stuff and cut a good 60 foot you could run mid to low 10s.

Street tires they are, but we're not talking about some Pep Boys summer tires. These are 00 treadwear rated Drag Radials (NT05R's). There are 500+ V8 guys cutting 1.6's on these tires (albeit various different sizes). I think I should be able to cut a 1.8 with them with some more practice.

Boost by gear I'm not sure how I'd do that with my crazy trans setup. Probably would end up having to be mph based or something. Need to research that more. I'm also a big fan of keeping it simple, so going from an MBC to an electronic setup running of the ECU, not sure if I'm ready for that jump yet haha.

You need weight transfer then. Try throwing in some worn out front shocks next time you hit the track. Oops, I meant front struts, a little more work.

Now that I have Solidworks, I drew up some parts I've been thinking about.

1) Front bumper / radiator cover to help keep airflow from escaping that large opening and instead going through radiator.

2) Spark plug cover for the 2JZ-GE valve covers. Nobody seems to make something like this, everyone just pays $300 for a used set of GTE valve covers and another $100 for GTE plug cover. No thanks, I'll keep my GE ones, and this plug cover should help it look cleaner.

Will get them made out of CF once I'm happy with the prototypes.

FYI, shocks don't modify weight transfer.

How about some CF covers that say 'slugworks racing' on them?? ;)

Can I get them with "Janky Engineering" on them instead? :)

As for suspension talk, I've done more reading. It sounds like my current suspension of OEM supra springs with Bilsteins is still regarded as a pretty deng good setup for the money. So probably just won't touch that at all.

The only coilovers that really stand out to me are the HR ones, but they are discontinued and only can be found if I order right from Germany. Around $1200, think I can find better things to spend that on.

Design finalized for the Front Cover and the Rear Cover!

SolidWorks is dangerous, I can see myself easily becoming addicted!

These are just prototypes made out of scrap sign material. Looking into getting some made out of CF. Hopefully in the next few weeks.
