Shitty. Does it sound like it's starving for fuel or what?

No, like a hard shutoff from the ecu. It runs perfectly for 3 secs, then dies. Checked a ton of the sensors, everything seems to be plugged in. I found a loose bolt for the positive alternator lead but that didn't change anything. Battery is strong too.

MAF issue possibly? I am trying to think what could be wrong, that is strange.

AC and starter...but my car didn't start at all. They are the same damn plug and very close to each other. But like I said, my car wouldn't start at all.

Almost sounds like a relay. Are those a returnless fuel system? I guess I have no clue on the X setups. I read online that some people were having issues with the key fob and the ecu not recognizing each other but Im not sure what factory option you have on your car.

Not a fob issue and it looks like the plugs Murlo mentioned are correct--they only fit one way on my car. If I feather the throttle and keep it up around 3000rpm, it will sometimes stay running for a bit longer, maybe 8 seconds. I did find the iat sensor in the bumper wasn't plugged in, but the problem persists.

I forget about that sensor every time I take my bumper off, lol. Sometimes I have to take the bumper back off because it gets stuck between shit, stupid sensor.

Strange though about it not staying running, something is amiss for sure.

Sounds exactly like what happens if you try to start an 8 with the wrong key.

Nope.
