Damn man, it looks like you guys got alot done yesterday. Looks like you don't need my help after all :D

Honestly, my goal was to have the trans out and flywheel getting machined by friday. I'm super happy with the progress!

ACT 6 puck ftw! I love mine...from what I remember.

I am not sure if the diff pins are in my tranny yet or not, but you could call Danny at DB and ask how much they were to install, i am not even sure yet.

SSP also just released their new MC since their old ones were having problems. The new one is a single piece and doesn't use stock components any more like the old one did. I never had problems, but didn't have much use on mine.

So just some things to think about...personally I would do the MC for sure and if you plan to beat on the car more, then I would just do the diff pins while the trans is out.

But your own labor is free, so maybe it's not such a big deal to do it yet.

Wrench on a holiday weekend? Bah! I plan on drinking and relaxing with family :)

I think I'm going to skip the master cylinder for now and just plan on replacing it down the road. If it explodes on me, well I guess I didn't replace it soon enough :) I'm on a tight-ass budget for this, not only monetarily, but also time-wise. I have interviews, work, and family/friend stuff to do nonstop this summer, I just want the car done and put it behind me.

I'm investigating the diff pin thing today. I don't plan on pulling this thing apart for a long time, so I'm considering it.

Damn impressed, as always.

Thx man, couldn't have done it w/o help.

Flywheel is getting machined today, I'll be in touch :) Many hands makes light work.

With all the problems that people had with that SSP master cylinder, I'm glad that I'm still on the stocker. It obviously hasn't burst yet. At this point in time, a IX conversion seems safer if you're going to do anything.

Did you do that AMS ring or anything? or just rocking 100% stock MC? I like the idea of an IX conversion, that is on my list of things to research.
