scheides

Nice, I bet 111 finds its way for the cruise. :KANE:
Haha nah. The car is plenty fun on 100% BP93, I'll have other stuff to worry about come cruise weekend (keep it between the ditches and shiny side up!). Plus at $6.99/gallon, my wallet will be empty in notime!
Might as well share the story of last night. I worked until about 1am and decided I should really do a boost leak test. Sure enough, injector #4 manifold side had a leak. Pulled the rail off and yup, I squished it upon install, fail scheides. These were brand new seals from DW.
Stole a seal off of a stock injector and luckily it fit. Got it put in and I tightened down the rail, fired the car up, gasoline everywhere. One of the injectors had caught on the flange and not seated properly (#3 IIRC). Loosen rail. Align carefully, decide I should just push down with my hand and leak test again. FML, I see the rail-side seal on #1 squish out. Fukin ripped it in half!
Stole another seal off of stockers, luckily they fit. Lube it and carefully seat everything. tighten, no leaks on either side, fire up the car, go for a mini spin. Woohoo! What a bish but good to go.
Get in the car this morning, car starts hard and smells like fuel, I write it off to what I spilled last night. Get a few miles down the road, pop the hood, fuel spraying out of #2 now. FML. Drive home, get the GLI, go to work. This is what I get for working too much I think, carelessness.
Will get it buttoned up for tomorrow, frustrated and tired and overworked.
