Why not setup boost per gear to limit torque down low? Wasn't the last failure right after a launch?

I need to look at the log and make sure it broke at a higher boost level.

I want to limit the car to wg pressure for 1st gear, which is 28psi. I do not have a BCS just a MBC and I do not have a speed input so boost per gear or boost vs MPH is out for now.

Hmm, without a bcs or speed input, boost by gear is tough.

Take a peak at the log to see what the conditions were, maybe its a case of 1/2 the tires hooked and 1/2 the tires didn't hook?

Here is the last 2 runs at Grove Creek doing 60' testing. The first run was a flat spin with 30psi in the tires and a 1.7 60', the 2nd run was a week later and 21psi in the tires, the car bit hard no wheel spin or wheel hop. It broke every tooth of the final drive as it came up on power with some collateral damage to the center diff and my evo 3 3rd gear.

I have new parts on the way and should have the car up at the MAP Proving grounds to break it again.

I know that sound very well, breaking transmission parts sucks. When mine broke last time at CF it sounded like a shot gun went off in the car. Are you going to make it to the MAP event?

I should be there, I am going to finish and install the tranny tomorrow, then it will be short blast somewhere to make sure it shifts and then start packing up all tranny and drive line related parts and tools to head up there early saturday morning. I plan to stay saturday night, even if the car is on the trailer already.
