In my mind it will always be a street car, but its probably never been a street car to most. Open down pipe and no a/c since its been running, and after bir I took the heat out and recently with the twin disc it would probably be pretty un-streetable to most, but I don't mind it.

The pro drag seat is actually very comfy, and I think I'll honestly like it better than the stock seat. I'm so damn lanky that my head hit the roof of the car if I sat straight up, and with a helmet on I had to turn my head to the side. With this seat I'll be able to mount it lower and hopefully fix the being too lanky problem

A sheetmetal seat won't fix you being a lanky ginger, just help make you fit better :P So no seat cushion at all? Cruising around town won't hurt at all? I'm just a skeptic, sorry. Looks nice though!

Nah, I'll rock a seat cushion, just found this thing pretty cheap on craigslist and always wanted one. I'd probably would've gotten a nice sparco/recaro lighweight seat but I'm not that baller, so this will do.

I'll let you sit in it with a cover and I bet you'll say, they really aren't that bad ;)

lol, nice find.
I have sat in a bare one for a few mins and they are comfy, but I have heard from a lot that the seat pads are good.
F what anyone says as long as you like it then cool, if not sell it and find something else.
You get some new WG springs yet or waiting till next year?
Keep the stockblock and get the record clearly.

Thanks Aaron! No new wastegate spring yet, thinking about letting it sit for the winter and try and save up to get the thing cagged. I think it'd be pretty cool to go for the record but it'd probably be cheaper to build this motor rather than finding another block. I'm super cheap where I can be tho, so I'll probably just let it buck on a stock block haha.

Went to go fill the car up with gas yesterday night after finishing mounting my krikey, and I have to say that spinning instantly when boost hit in 3rd was kinda cool

The cool thing about the way my dad and I made the kirkey brackets is that they are completely removable and utilize stock mounting holes. So for daily driving I can swap seats in no time.

If anybody is buying a steering wheel and hub, DO NOT buy from Crowderscustomizing.com. About a month after I ordered my quick release, hub, and adapter I finally get all the right parts...

I also took out some of the interior wiring like door ajar sensor, washer pump thing, other misc wiring, rear speakers, and the front seat belts saved me a total of 19lbs. Hoping to make it as light as possible while still looking stock besides the kirkey.

I'm trying to think of other cheap things I can do to make it go faster some how, but kinda running out of ideas.

^now you are making me cry, all the things you are doing are the things I wished were never done to my car and that I am trying to fix.

I'll be home for the next 2 weeks, maybe I can stop by with twinkie I can usually come up with some crazy ideas when the project is in front of me.

Looks good man.
