Not looking for stock, car has to pretty much be a pre assembled car. Might need minor things but that's it.
Three kids and a 7 day a week job working evenings with only 1 day off every other week which I always choose to spend with my kids. Doesnt leave much time to mod a car and the point of this car is to stop paying the rediculous labor costs down here that people charge to work on cars.
Flights paid for so im at least going to fly out and take a look at it. And will be negotiating the price down.
Accordingly.
I found the parts already to put the heat back in. As well as the wiper system.
all cheap like you guys mentioned it just a matter or time to install it as per mentioned above time is limited.

...also leaves you no time to fix someone else's wreck.
Just stating my opinion and playing a little bit of the Devil's advocate. I obviously wish you the best and hope it all works out!

Yep dont understand why youd want that mess, if you dont even have time to tinker with it. Its a dsm, it will break.

I seems like you already have your mind made up about the car. I encourage you to take a step back and mentally prepare yourself to walk away if need be. Its easy to get tunnel vision on a car. It's even easier when its a car that really can toss you back into the seat. I've bought 2 cars while in this "tunnel vision" mode (both dsms). I got fucked both times .Krackas made some good points, listen to him. I hope you get there and the cars amazing, but prepare yourself to cut your losses and go home car-less.

I do understand all sides. if i get there and decide the car isnt worth the money then I have no problems walking away.
As far as breaking goes... well one thing i've learned there is no such thing as a reliable car.
And cars break more so based on how you treat them has been my experience. The rest just is wear and tear. I just know how to work on dsm's more then others cars and they are cheaper to fix. If I get there and this isnt the one then so be it.
Search will go on if need be.

I agree That it does sound bad that the owner is forgetting things' and to be prepaired to walk away. I drove to Chicago to buy my 2G. It was suposed to be "rust free" and was owned buy a pretty well known reputable guy on the dsmlink forums. IF it was a local car I would have walked away. But since we already made the trip I brought it home. I have had to redo alot of wireing and will be fixing strut tower rust while my engine is out. Goog luck I hope everthing works out for you but I think you should prepare for the worst.

Talked with the owner tonight said he'd cover the cost of the parts. And my gas to go get them in nc.
Comes off the price of the car at time of purchase
