As far as I know...no. at least I dont know of any with link experience. hensenmy comments earlier that if i cant get tuning figured out i might see about flying someone in if i can find an awd dyno.

There are a few supra places with in 5hr dr but that's all I know about and that still doesnt help with link knowledgability.

I do know of one guy in atlanta running speed density (car I was looking at) who said he did his own tuning.
And his car is pushing 68lbs/min.

Maybe I can talk shane into doing it long distance via sending him logs or something.

.Are there no professional tuners around you? I'm sure you've mentioned it already, I probably just missed it.

How did we even survive prior to google?

lol - remember most of the time im on my phone and its a piece of shit.

when i go to "search" on any forum while on it , it just then takes me to the web address bar. So search features dont work AT ALL on my phone.

And using "quote's" while making posts is beyond frustrating. The curser will randomly jump around and if I'm typing a long post it wont let me scroll through my posts it just scrolls the full thread so i basically have to start over retyping my post.

But google does work I just never actually did a search for dyno's, yet as im still working on the rest of my problems before i spend the money to get it tuned. I did make a post on ecmlink looking for a tuner / dyno but that's as far as i got when all this other crap started.

I appreciate all your guys help. I would have done search's once the car was IMO ready for a dyno (I even made that comment earlier, the car isnt ready)

its going to be at least till middle of July before i'll even have the funds to purchase the replacement items I want to try to fix the car. And the $300-500 dyno fund wont be till Aug/sept if at the earliest.

Let alone no matter where this dyno is i will have to be able to drive the car there and as it sits now i cant even drive to out of the neighborhood with out it stalling atm.

I have a guy on link working on a tune for me (started late last night). Im pretty sure my wideband is toast (stayed in open loop all morning when i was doing the "idle" log for him. So looks like july will be the earliest replacement for that and I can start again, unless it staying in open look is something hes doing on his end? I havent done anything but load his files and do what he's asking)

Anyrate. I have a list of things I want to add to the car before i pay for dyno time weather its to fix an issue or just as part of my plans for the car.

Mostly cooling system fixes.
-xline radiator
-mishimoto fan shroud with fans
-mishimoto lower thermostat
-mishimoto 1.3 radiator cap
-mishimoto sandwich adapter for oil filter housing
-map oil cooler
-aem oil pressure gauge
-aem oil Temp gauge (maybe)
-aem uego sensor replacement

If those those things dont keep coolant temps below 200. Then ill look into installing all the heater stuff. As to make life easier I'd probably pull the engine at that point. And would probably wait till taxes and just have the car painted since I'd be pulling the interior out and motor.

Been debating on keeping car red or doing a full white make over, interior metal and all would get painted white.

Why?
-mishimoto sandwich adapter for oil filter housing
If it's a 7bolt. Get evo 1-3 ofh (I have one around) or evo 8-9 ofh all will bolt on and will not need a sandwich adapter to run an oil cooler set up.

When the time comes I was going to go through everything with one of maps reps to make sure im getting the right stuff as well as everything I need to install.

I originally wanted the sandwich plate for the oil sensors. But now that im looking to get an oil cooler....

The car has a forward facing oil filter housing. Which I have not researched yet as to where it came from (make model car etc) so I was going to go over it with there rep to see that I have everything I need to install everything correctly.

But again this is a little while off. I may even do this in stages just all depends on cash flow. Amd things that come with having 3 kids and a wife. I dont need this car so I can take as long as I want to get things done.

Also the car has a 6 bolt in it

Well having a great fathers day.

Jery1234 on ecmlink forums has spend yesterday and today. Tuning my car. And I must say its running great so far. We just started working on WOT pulls. All logs requested have been posted on my ecmlink thread (see earlier post for link if need be)
