Well I just measured the distance from the back of the radiator to yhe waste gate and doesn't even look like a slim line fan will fit as a puller there.

So now its looking like I'm going to have to remove the a/c and go with pusher fans which I really didn't want to do seeing as its over 100 for like 4 months out of the year here.

Slim line fans usually taper to the edges too, so you might have more room to fit one than you think. What is in there now for fans?

Are your exhaust manifold and turbo hot side ceramic coated? If not, that would help.

Yes to both and it has a blanket on the exhaust manifold as well as being coated.

Im thinking I might try the xline radiator with the lower thermostat that mishimoto makes.

That radiator is 25% larger then mishimoto standard radiator And just use the one stock fan for now like it now and just see of the larger radiator and lower thermosts will fix the issue.

If it doesn't then ill know i have to get drastic again.

Again this car also doesn't sent water through the firewall to the heater core. Or the intake. He had the water pipe that runs under the turbo welded shut. As well as the part of the thermostat housing.

Well i reverted the tune back to where it was when i picked it up. And I must say doing so showed me how over my head i was trying to do it myself. As it runs so much better on the old tune.

And after driving home i'm starting to think the stuttering i get at part throttle or initial touch of the gas may be spark plug gapping.

I have an new set of 7es... (i pulled the old ones yesterday and they were grey colored)

anyrate if anyone wants to look at the logs with WOT pulls i put up 2 logs of my ride home. And this time WB is correct on the logs. I noticed the highest boost i saw was 21psi for a split second otherwise it was normally hanging around 17psi on the gauge.

My experience with lower temp T-Stats. If you're cooling system is working as it should, it will work great to keep your temps lower. However if you are having overheating issues, all it does is delay the inevitable. It never actually fixed anything for me, simply delayed it by a little bit.

One other thing I forgot to mention. If you're oil cooler setup is the type where the coolant cools the oil, you could potentially benefit from switching over to an air type oil cooler. Takes a little bit of tax off the coolant system, and every little bit helps.

I researched taking the heater core out of my car for a while. What I found (at least with 1g's is that if you just block everything off, the coolant can no longer circulate unless you loop the lines somewhere. Might not be your issue, but worth looking in to. For me, I decided to just keep the heater core, wasn't worth the hassle of saving ~10 lbs.

I was planning on putting the heating system back in. I'm like steve now a days I like prefer driving comfortably. The parts are cheap and I plan to buy all of it when I go to get the interior. Then it'll just be a matter of finding the time to do it all.

So last night something really wierd happened. I posted a log of it on ecmlink, same thread ad always.

Anyrate I let the car warm up thr proceeded to start driving across the parking lot.

And the car started sputtering as if it want getting any fuel or power. It finally died. I stopped the car shut the ignition off waited a few seconds and then started the car. Fired right up as if nothing was wrong.

I proceeded to drive home. Doing logs of the tip in issue I am having. As well as after like 18miles of nothing happening i did a wot pull and everything was fine (other then the wideband was reading 9.8/1 at the start of the pull and only got up to 10.8. @ 20psi)

Drive it through town to the bank and then home driving completely fine?

Any ideas why it would Shut off like that when I first got going?

The battery is located in the trunk and part of me thinks there might be a connection issue there. Or maybe its the cop set up
