Okay well I finally got to take the car out and put some miles on her. I had a heck of a time getting her started. Took about 2.5 hours of messing around with it to finally get it to start. Doesn't seem to like the cold. Put the first 30 miles on it it seemed to run okay. It kind of seemed like it would cut out or the tune was funky. But i just kept doing as many vacuum pulls as I could. Brought it to my buddies work and changed the oil and the filter. Checked everything over. Then i put some more miles on her. The more I dove it the more everything seemed to smooth out and it seems to run pretty good. I ended with about 75 miles on it. All in all a good day :-)

You're either very brave or incredibly antsy to be going on cruises with all this salt laying around.
Good to hear the beast is doing alright, though!

Well I'm definitely antsy. The engine went 2 weeks after I bought the car so it's basically been down the whole time I've owned it. So i really want this thing done and tuned by the time it's nice out if it's possible. Also i need to get the engine broken in cause I think I have to find a new place to keep the car for now and I need it to be mobile if I have to move it :-\

I honestly would be in the same boat. No salt is gonna stop me from being impatient and nothing a car wash couldn't clean up. Let me know when it goes on the rollers I definitely want to be there!

Yeah kind of what I was think lol. My car needs paint anyways plus the roads were dry and it was above 30 so a decent day to take it out. Yeah ill definitely let you know when I make an appointment to get it on the rollers. Funds permitting hopefully early April

Well the roll cage was starting to rust so I got the bright idea of cleaning it up and painting it. This is a major pain in the ass lol. Hopefully it turns out okay
