That heater should be just fine to take the chill out, my rents had one in their big 3 car garage and in an hour or so it raised the temp in winter to sweatshirt territory. Their garage was attached to the house though.
Good progress! That ladder doesnt look fun to assemble in the sweaty heat weve been having!

Looking good! That should make working on the cars this winter a little more enjoyable!

Thanks, great info!
Yea you can tell in the one pic I was basically soaked in sweat, didn't realize it though. The heater was worse than the ladder since I had to be up in the attic drilling holes and pulling cable. I showed the pic to my mom and told her I was a little off my rocker to be installing a heater during the height of summer, but then again it probably beats doing it in the dead of winter!
I like to think of it as banking heat energy into the garage so it stays extra warm once it gets cold :)

Garage heaters are sweet. I need to install one. Think I'm going Natural Gas though, seemed a bit cheaper to operate than electric.

Yip that's what I would do if I had an attached garage. With 50A service already run out here though, I'm forced into electric, augmented with the torpedo.
I will say though, I ran my air compressor, the heater, the air conditioner, stereo, and the garage door, and all lights all at the same time w/o blowing a breaker. Pretty sweet, must be right on the ragged edge.

Took quick pictures, too tired from digging footings and carry wood and concrete bags since like 7am. Made good progress today, need to wait for the city to inspect footings then we can pour those and start stairs and decking. We didn't want too much weight on the temp posts which is why we are holding off on the decking and waiting until we get posts up.
Can't wait to grill out on this, its way bigger than i expected, the plans were misleading haha.

Also, finally got gutters all around! The house didn't come with them and I have been putting it off. Got the bigger downspouts and also the leaf guard stuff. Feels good to be getting house stuff accomplished lately. If I only could do the same on the car.
Didn't bother with more gutter pics because well, they are gutters haha.
