Arc of light into your neighbors faces!
LMAO!! oh man.
I'll just stop tanning and become super white. I then will be able to walk around naked in the garage and the bright blinding white light will make it impossible for them to see me.
Genius, stay cool in the summer and keep the aC bill low. :sport017:

I cut an 8" hole in one of my walls for a kitchen vent hood this weekend. Sucked with the stucco.
That would have sucked!

Bmans garage turned out nice with teh lights, its looks like a body shop.
The shelves are a nice height for commonly used items as you can just reach up and get stuff and if it's heavy use a step stool. However they are about 6ft/plenty of head room.

Anyone have any good winter house projects? Since my garage is nearly done, I have started to other project while its cold out. I am going to start my media room/ dedicated theater sometime this month. I recently swapped out all my outside lights on my house with the EcoSmart 6" LED recessed fixtures. VERY happy with how it turned out! I wasn't sure how bright they would be so I tested out the 4 recessed lights in the kitchen and then moved to the exterior lights once I was content.
Sorry for the crappy iphone pic.

Sweet on LED! I got all LED xmas lights last year and got a few more this year too. Not sure how much they save in money but im sure its worth it. Best part is, my energy company gives me back 3 dollars per box of led xmas lights or cfl, money back ftw!
I swapped out most of my bulbs for cfl around the house, and id like to install a couple led cans outside the front entry that would stay on all night.
Yeah, LED's are great. For some reason Lowe's has them very cheap. I got a 60w regular bulb replacement (under $10) and put it in the garage door opener. It is full brightness instantly and doesn't get dimmer when cold like the CFL. Love it!
As far as projects I am finishing up our main floor bath in the next week or 2, all of the tile is down. Just have to grout, baseboards and finish the glass tile around the top of the shower, then reinstall fixtures. After that I am going to be wiring up the downstairs and installing a subpanel in the shop. Fun times!

My gf and I just got a house in Cottage Grove. Don't have any pics of it yet. It's just a 3 br rambler with a fully finished basement. Could make one of the rooms in the basement a legal bedroom by adding an egress window. For now, it's going to be my man cave.
It has a nice garage, 24' deep by 26' wide, and there's a pit in the floor for doing easy fluid changes. The ceiling is insulated, but the walls are not. That'll probably be the first thing I do in the spring.
Most of the house was renovated before we bought it, so there's not really too much we need to do, other than a little paint.
