I could also lend a hand if you ever needed help. I do floors for a living but remodeled my entire house from the studs. Also can get ya deals on tile and flooring.

Oh. Haha. I'm actually looking at renting a house to start. Our lease up here is up may 31st, but I want to be out of here a week or two earlier. I don't think there is anyway I could close on a house that fast and not be crazy rushed. I want to get one house and be there for good, so I want it to be "the" place. I figure if we rent for a year or so, that gives us time to find out exactly what we want.

Didn't Brownman sell his townhouse? (Pretty sure of this)

Yeah I sold my place, Bman/Brandon/Halon has his place still and I think has been mildly contemplating renting to a member it might go for it.
There are a lot of nice places in blaine (1200/mo) down to not so nice places. The $1200/mo would of been for a place like mine 3br, 2.5 br 1600sq ft, 2 car attached in the lakes development. The newest, largest development in the city.

I'd possibly be interested in renting my place out, but wouldn't be ready until around the end of June or early July.
1500sq/ft, 3br/3ba, lots of stairs!!!! lol

Not really a project, but I'm in the process of refinancing my house into a 15 year mortgage at 3.6% fixed!

Brandon, would you mind PM'ing me a price that you would be looking to get for rent and possibly some more details? length of lease, maintenence, etc

Chase; plus 1% back at the end of each year (cash or applied towards mortgage principle) if it's auto-withdrawn from a Chase checking account (which I also have). They give nice discounts to the closing fees if you or a family member is a union member (my mom is) or military.
