9:1 compression, pump gas, and a professional tune this time around though :)
This thing may very well have 500+ WHP on 93-octane in it!

So if I'm reading this right and I'd like to think I am this is your 3rd motor and the first 2 blew from corn and your 3rd your switching to 93.
I'm kind've scared, I'm currently undergoing a massive build to from a 2.0 16g corn fed to a 2.3 stroker with a FP black and with the numbers I want I'm sticking with corn. I guess my question is do you know what went wrong, is corn that unpredictable, or was is it all in your the tune?

First two blew up on E85, this will be the 3rd engine, will be running 93, and getting a professional tune this time.

The bigger your setup and the further you push it, the less margin for error there is. Long story short, he ran too much boost on the stock block and too high of a compression ratio on his first built block. Combine that with an inexperienced tuner, especially on E85, and it's a recipe for disaster. Shit happens, learn from your mistakes, and move on from there. This car will be back bigger and badder very soon and with a good tune should be very reliable for a long time. The plan is to drive it cross-country and bring it on the Spring Cruise :)

Good luck, i voted 475whp, I like that you are determined to drive it across country like a normal car.
