The ef2 is nice and flat. I would rock the ef2 if I owned a evo. That car makes alot of power on pump gas with the mods that are done to it. Surprised you havent had any problems with the car. Unlike everybody up here

Nothing wrong with my stock clutch, still holding strong at 53k miles, but the opportunity had come up to do more clutch testing for Competition Clutch; I tested their Stage 3 segmented Kelvar on my IX. This one is their Stage 2 full-face organic sprung disc with their new HD Street 3,000 lb. pressure plate which should remain very smooth for DD use.

Besides for some routine annual maintenance before the Texas All-State cruise this coming weekend, I was able able to add a few fun new upgrades!
MR 2-piece front brake rotors:

MR BBS wheels:

The wheels came already mounted with some barely used Nitto NeoGen tires; I'm not all too impressed with them, but I may just leave them on for now since they were basically free. They're a high-performance all-season tire and you definitely realize the A/S portion when you push them hard in a corner. They howl very loudly, but at least they break-away in a smooth and controller fashion. I was going to install the new Girodisc S/S "Orange" pads along with the rotors, but my current StopTechs still had enough meat left where I decided to reuse them.

If anyone cares, between the wheels and rotors, I shaved off about 20 pounds of rotational mass.
