You mean aside from the fact that it will probably be so complicated shit will take forever to get done. Also so expensive to pay all the people involved that taxes will rise even more!

Or the fact that it is just a shit system perhaps, where everyone has coverage but no one has good coverage. Just a way for the dems to convince the poor people to vote for them again. They aren't paying any more money, why would they care, and they get something they didn't have, a little coverage.

Reading the article is seriously scary.

"To pay for this expansion, the bill takes $529 billion from Medicare, with roughly 39 percent of the cut coming from the Medicare Advantage program. This represents a large transfer of resources, sacrificing the care of the elderly in order to increase the Medicaid rolls."

"For all this supposed reform, you, the American taxpayer, can expect a bill to the tune of $569 billion.
