I just respond to get Tom all riled up. :D
I stopped trying long ago, because there's really no point in changing people's minds. I'm not even sure I'm going to vote this year, because really, I don't like either candidate, even though I lean towards one.
The only way to change the economy truly, starts by getting all the corrupt people in charge of the banking system, all corporations, and also the Govt. That will never happen though.

This supposed connection with William Ayers (among many other things) is just a little too questionable for my comfort.
Just because you knew someone does not make you that person. Obamas connection with Ayers is far from best buddies.
"Bill Ayers and Barack Obama at one time lived in the same neighborhood in the city of Chicago, and both had worked on education reform in the state of Illinois. The two met "at a luncheon meeting about school reform."[41] Obama was named to the Chicago Annenberg Challenge Project Board of Directors to oversee the distribution of grants in Chicago. Later in 1995, Ayers hosted "a coffee" for "Mr. Obama's first run for office."[42] The two served on the board of a community anti-poverty group, the Woods Fund of Chicago, between 2000 and 2002, during which time the board met twelve times.[42] In April 2001, Ayers contributed $200 to Obama's re-election fund to the Illinois State Senate.[41] Since 2002, there has been little linking Obama and Ayers.[42] The senator said in September 2008 that he hadn't "seen him in a year-and-a-half."[43] In February 2008, Obama spokesman Bill Burton released a statement from the senator about the relationship between the two: "Senator Obama strongly condemns the violent actions of the Weathermen group, as he does all acts of violence. But he was an eight-year-old child when Ayers and the Weathermen were active, and any attempt to connect Obama with events of almost forty years ago is ridiculous."[41] CNN's review of project records found nothing to suggest anything inappropriate in the non-profit projects in which the two men were involved.[44] Internal reviews by The New York Times, The Washington Post, Time magazine, The Chicago Sun-Times, The New Yorker and The New Republic "have said that their reporting doesn't support the idea that Obama and Ayers had a close relationship".

Obama agreeing with Bush? NO WAY!
Obama says a McCain administration would be a Bush third term, yet Obama is in agreement with Bush on many areas. Here are 20 of them.

Barack obama has stated many times that he is FOR CLEAN COAL technology. The statement was taken out of context.
Matt please admit you are a McCain supporter and give up masking yourself behind an independent tag. I have not seen one comment that really puts you in the Independent group or Undecided. You get your news from McCains Political (Lobbyist) advisers.

I'm not even voting for McCain, so saying I support him would not be true. I don't want McCain to be president either, but I don't want Obama in office even more so. No matter where I get news from you Obama supporters will always say it's from some anti-Obama source. Is there some secret Obama approved news agency that I should be getting news from? Oh wait, they'd never tell the truth and say something bad about him... You better hope that I won't be saying "I told you so" if he's elected and drives this country further into the ground than it already is.
This country needs another JFK, a champion of the people. Obama is not a leader, he is a celebrity.

I disagree with you. I believe Obama is going to be a great leader. I believe he will be a much more active and great leader then McCain ever could be.
No matter what the obama supporters say you will always say that we are voting for him because hes a celebrity or that we get our news from the left, but regardless the majority of the obama supporters (and majority of the country) can figure out the falsehoods that either campaign is spitting and pick the best of the two or at least i would hope.
You call Obama a Celebrity but look at the McCain Campaign, Sarah Palin is the epitomy of a celebrity, shes for the common woman? Yeah right, what common woman spends $150,000 on a wardrobe. GG Now stop calling him a celebrity.
I know the following you will jump all over but who cares these are shows that i trust to give me news.
Real Time with Bill Maher
Countdown with Keith Olbermann
and the Rachel Maddow show.
Nothing on CNN or Fake News (fox news)
I dont get my political opinion and news from Youtube, if you do you really need to rethink your accusations about the media.
The fact that the McCain campaign is using Joe the Plumber (who is unlicensed and was never planning or had the capital to be able to afford the business he was stating he was going to buy, and now has a publicist and manager to jumpstart his country music career) as their mascot is just stupid. Their campaign has done so many sleazy tactics to try and smear baracks name, and this is such a detriment to our government. Calling him a terrorist via robocalls, and basically slandering his name. Thanks for buying into it, Matt, The McCain campaign loves uneducated voters like you.
You also should really check out FactCheck.org before you go on helping spread the Republican Propaganda. Its a website that is not for the left of the right, its for the facts. and debunks both sides campaign materials.
