Re: Buschnuts calls out Magnus
THe thread shows how many fan boys Buschur has swinging from his nuts. The way he went about this was pretty un professional. DB loves to talk shit and start drama, it dosn't matter who he has in his sights.
He should not have started this untill he has some actual data showing the magnus manifold has no gains on a EVO.

He has this data. He tried it both with a stock turbo and a large aftermarket turbo.

he has not shown any data. All he has done is say it lost 34hp in the mid range. I find it hard to believe he would try this test and not have a dyno graph to show from it. I'm not saying I don't believe him, he just shouldn't be starting shit till he has solid proof.

He dyno'd the car back-to-back, how much more solid does it get than that? Has anyone asked him for the dyno charts?

What's solid about accusations that have no proof to back it up? Accusations that came shortly after the whole bearing fallout, then all a sudden this? All I see are accusations, no proof of anything. I hear this 34hp loss in midrange getting thrown around. Pretty sure we all know in here that a large plenum, short runner SMIM is going to net losses in the midrange, nothing new here. They are made to perform high in the RPM band, RPM's over 7k.

Re: Buschnuts calls out Magnus
Really what it comes down to, IMO, is that some real strong accusations were made, with little to no proof backing it up. I don't side with either of them, I just feel that if you're going to publically come forth, in the manner he did, you should have some solid proof with you. I can't wait to see what comes from the "witnessed" testing that he says he's going to do. Hopefully they'll rev it a little higher next time.

Do you really think if he had the charts he wouldn't have posted them up by now? Or asking for people to be there when he does the test again?

Re: Buschnuts calls out Magnus
Wow!
Where's Chuck Norris at when you need him to do some dyno-testing?
They're both going to have their stories and sides, so it's all up to who ever is a Magnus fan or who is a Buscher fan.
Either way, I'm glad it's for Evo's. And I'm still going to get a JMF Street SMIM for my 1g.

Re: Buschnuts calls out Magnus
Totally unrelated to the topic, but someone needs to teach David Buschur the difference between lose and loose.

Meh, he's just as good at spelling as TKR, that's all
Can't wait to see the results of his test now, that's crazy. Still, all of the manifolds that have been cracking in the last year or two makes me extra leery of buying one.
