Do you run the stock turbo water pipe? If so, did you run into any issues with the compressor cover hitting the little water pipe nub on the bottom of it (the nub that isn't on the N/T ones)?

Making some great progress Kevin, nice job! That compressor cover looks pretty sick also.

I swapped to a 90 N/T thermostat housing and 90 N/T waterpipe (I added an external oil cooler). I had to dent the water pipe a little to clear the compressor cover, but it was just a little bit.

Hahaha, stock 6 bolt :) Well, it's fresh stock rebuild by me. It has like 15k miles on it so far. ACL Race bearings, ARP headstuds, Copper-sprayed mitsu gasket, fresh head, balance shafts eliminated.
If/when this engine blows up, a mild 2.4L will be tossed in.

A big fat NO. I'm sure it will be fine, not perfect, but fine.
My mini-laptop should be here tomorrow so I can start linking it up! But this shit weather might hold me up till next weekend.
Some newer pics below. I'll get better ones once the car moves.

Glad to see I'm not the only one with "modified" thermostat housing wiring. Looks good man!

I have two solid lifters, I will be degreeing my BC 280's. Do you have adjustable cam gears? I think we should spend a day degreeing them if you do, although I think it would be alot harder with the motor in the car.
