Just when I thought this couldn't get any better... It does! :wank:

I've shown this project to a few of my instructors out here at WyoTech and they are damn impressed!

That manifold is pure sex!

Hey Mark, I don't suppose you would know or could do a quick measurement of how far apart the front brembo's mounting bolts are center to center, maybe rears too if you have them laying around. I am looking at other sources for brembo calipers. I'm thinking about using calipers from an AMG Benz, something like this because of the way they mount...

I am just trying to get an idea if that would be simpler than either buying jdm galant knuckles or the route you are going with the Evo III.

Funny you should mention that, I've been eyeing the Brembos on my ML55 AMG, I didn't realize they mount differently. That might be a whole lot easier to make brackets for..

the rears bolt right on to a 2g so there is no modding for them. I will have to see what the fronta are but they are not much diffrent from the 2pistion set up mabe like 1/2in or so for bolt spacing if even that. For that style brembo you will have to make one big thick bracket that will bolt to your knuckle and bolt top to bottom though that one. the brembo brakes off a evo,sti,350z,skyline r34,sentra v-spec are all the same so they dont have to be off a evo. But they are getting cheaper on ebay

I knew the backs were no big deal to swap out. I realize the front bracket would have to be pretty damn thick, but in the end that would seem to be a less work than the grinding and what not. That and if I happened to get 6 piston brakes or something then oh darn, something a little different than others are running. I had assumed the sti, 350z etc brembos were all the same, hell the ones on my mustang likely are the same as well...Just seeing what is available and trying to decide which direction I want to go right now.

Also the Audi RS series cars have rather large brembos that mount the same as the AMG's, they are spendy. However, they are huge and sexy. So yeah, I am thinking about it as of now.
