LOL, the torque converter was a custom piece. When it was made the snout for the pilot was too long and contacts the flywheel bolts. Not a big problem, but one that we don't want to experience the effects of when this thing makes power...

Why not get out A: an angle grinder and shave off the part that contacts the bolts, or B: get some warshers and space that converter out from the flywheel? Nothing like southerner-style engineering to go fast.

We aren't sure how much material there is on that snout, and the movement stripped out the threads on the torque converter itself so the front plate will need to be repaired. Believe me we looked at every option that would get it done faster lol.
