Looks like you need to incorporate the DSM hood power bulge.

Need to change that badge on the back to say '4GX7' or something....

Re: The MAPerformance 4g64 Powered FD RX7 Project Overview
I think some filing could have been done on the turbo and shortened it enough to clear the hood. At least the cut is small and nice. Doesn't look too bad. Same with the car. Nice.

Re: The MAPerformance 4g64 Powered FD RX7 Project Overview
Wow, that thing is crazy! Are you guys thinking about bringing it to the Cookout? We can put it into the "other" category. It would be another car that Pete will have to compete with. hehe.

Re: The MAPerformance 4g64 Powered FD RX7 Project Overview
Where do you get E98 and how much? What is the octane rating on that stuff and how does it compare to C16?

but ethanol absorbs huge amounts of heat when it vaporizes, so its hard to tell i would say you could make more power with ethanol, but thats just a wild ass guess |
Re: The MAPerformance 4g64 Powered FD RX7 Project Overview
NM, I would like to try E98 some day

Re: The MAPerformance 4g64 Powered FD RX7 Project Overview
Methanol makes around 15% more HP, so it's popular in drag racing, even though it is toxic and a pain to deal with.
