Re: 2002 Subaru WRX
Yea, you would definitely need a Walbro. Should be a blast of a car on corn! We will probably be right around the same power level by then.

Re: 2002 Subaru WRX
Bout time you update! haha
Your welcome for the spark plug reccomendation also
I'm excited to see what Nuke can get out of it for power, we'll definitely need a re-match now that you have an extra .5L of displacement and a bigger turbo. Really our cars are at about even levels now, cause if yours was a factory STi like an 04-05, it would be considered "Stage 2" right? I wonder if Bugeye's weigh any less?

Re: 2002 Subaru WRX
Yea! headed down there today. It is considered "stage 2" but the weight difference really isn't much I don't think. 2002 WRX curb weight is 3085 and the 2005 STI is 3265 from what I found. I'll have to see how much it really weighs now though...We'll have to get a re-match in the next week sometime??or go play out in the snow!

Re: 2002 Subaru WRX
Heck, 180 lbs is a fair amount. I really wonder how much that 2.5L, 6 speed and the huge ass brakes add to it though? Cause WRX brakes are tiny tiny compared to the STi brembos.

Re: 2002 Subaru WRX
The 6 speed and the brakes add 100-200lbs, it's still gonna be quick though a cobb "stage 2" STi is about the same power as a stock Evo IX with a few addons and a tune.
That's awesome you got it done man! I would like a ride in this thing sometime, I bet it's a sweet ride. How does it feel to finish a big swap like this?

I was kinda thinking the weight really wouldn't be too much different...
Feels great to get it done, still a few odds and ends, but it's running good!
I went and got a tune from Nuke yesterday and I need more fueling because my dumb ass didnt switch over the STI fuel pump and was using the WRX fuel pump. So if I find the right injectors I will probably just jump to E85 right away since I have to change the fuel pump anyway.
