The 6 speed and the brakes add 100-200lbs, it's still gonna be quick though a cobb "stage 2" STi is about the same power as a stock Evo IX with a few addons and a tune.

That's awesome you got it done man! I would like a ride in this thing sometime, I bet it's a sweet ride. How does it feel to finish a big swap like this?

I was kinda thinking the weight really wouldn't be too much different...

Feels great to get it done, still a few odds and ends, but it's running good!

I went and got a tune from Nuke yesterday and I need more fueling because my dumb ass didnt switch over the STI fuel pump and was using the WRX fuel pump. So if I find the right injectors I will probably just jump to E85 right away since I have to change the fuel pump anyway.

lol youre not a dumbass... the STI was kinda disposed of before you were done taking the stuff off of it lol

Nice work man. I wish i could pick your old parts. The head gaskets just went out on my 97 outback. And i would love to do a turbo swap. lol
