You do know its not about visual inspections.. they actually take measurements of your exhaust output. They used to do it here in MN, but got rid of it.
yes i know. but the visual inspections are done by the police. dont forget i am living in CA, where modified cars get pulled over and get their car inspected for CARB stickers.

yes there are things that produce more carbon emmissions then cars. But cars are something that we can actually fix to produce less. Perhaps there is a different curing process for concrete they could look at. For the cows it could be something in their food. There are a lot of ways we can reduce the amount of Carbon emmissions. We just have to figure out how to do it, Catalytic converters are just an easy first baby step.
I totally agree it hurts performance of our cars, but if you have ever flown into california in the daylight you will understand how much smog we actually have. It almost made me sick when we were getting ready to land and you look out and see LITERALLY a layer of brown air. It looked like seperated liquids. NASTY. And this is the air we breathe on a daily basis. I would hate it if i flew into MN and it was the same way.

Isn't your state the worst in the nation of out of control spending and deficit? Looks like all those programs are working great, but that's alright, Obama will pay all your bills for you. I'm embarrassed to call your governor a Republican when he's obviously moderate democrat. No wonder the GOP can't get anything done anymore.
