I had BPR7es plugs in it, which shane thought could have been a limiting factor. I guess not all DSM things transfer over to EVO's

Re: My Evo IX dyno session
Interesting; seems low on the top-end power, probably due to the massive boost taper. Stock intake box I'm guessing? Still, looks like some nice fat torque was there, judging by the shape of the curve and the 300tq figure. Very nice. My VIII put down about that without cams.
And that's 50whp less than hughes' IX, not 30

Re: My Evo IX dyno session
What kind of boost control? stock or something? I think like scheides said, the boost level drops and that could maybe remedy some of the low power.
Anyway, you can always solve small problems with a dremel or duct tape. Let 'er buck.

WTF? that seems really really strange. Maybe you can get a vendor to break up a set.

Re: My Evo IX dyno session
I will try, but I doubt it'll happen. MAP said they can't get just a single cam either.

Re: My Evo IX dyno session
What cam do you need? Intake or exhaust? Give me the info, I'll see if I have any luck.

Re: My Evo IX dyno session
This is one of those times when SOHC is better. When you only need one cam. pwnt. Good luck finding something. You should get a 292 or something huge for the intake, just for fun.

Re: My Evo IX dyno session
Shit, I tried my best, but for some reason, they refuse to split them up. Sorry about that. Maybe you should take your cam and beat swifty with it, then make him buy it back. It may make everything worth it.

Re: My Evo IX dyno session
Thanks for trying!
My Evo now has no-lift-to-shift, valet mode, and the knock patch that flashes the service engine soon light when knock is detected.

Can't; HKS only makes 272 MIVEC cams. I think I'll end up eBaying this BC 280 exhaust cam and eventually picking up a set of Cosworth cams.
