So why is it big news when a 3S runs a 9, and that same number hardly garners a yawn in the DSM crowd? Oh yeah, there twelve times as many DSM's running 9's or better compared to the 3S crowd.

My street car runs low 11's and my race car's personal best is a mid 11....
Keep in mind that far more DSM's were produced than 3/S's allowing a much larger enthusiast base therefore more opportunities to go fast. I like both cars, nothing against either, I am just saying that statistics do play a role here.
