It really depends on what you are going to do with it. If you really are going to be looking to hit something at 400 yards I would suggest a 4-16 scope, 4-12 would be alright too. I have a couple of 3-9 and they are fine at 300, but I find myself wanting a little more zoom beyond that.

But really how often are you going to be shooting out to 300-400 yards? An ACOG will still be plenty of zoom for that range and they are still easy to find your target up close. Mine even has iron sights on top of it for kind of a backup sight for very close shots. Looks just like this:

Plus it's a baller battle scope for your baller battle rifle. ;)

I was leaning toward an ACOG honestly, but there are like 10 different flavors. I was thinking the 4x32 one, then you can mount a red dot on it too I think.

I really just don't want something super heavy.

Recommend on which ACOG?

Well, I have one you can borrow you to see if you like it. Then there are a whole bunch of different styles and reticle options.

idk, it's a 4x32, looks exactly like the one above except for it's beat up looking, and has a reticle like this, except for the red part lights up green in the dark on mine.

Went to buy an ar and nobody has one in stock. Went to fleet farm in oakdale and the guy in front of me bought the last one there. So going to look at hand guns tomorrow.

Gun Stop in Minnetoka had some AR15's available when I was there on thursday. 2 or 3 of them.

They had 8 Huldras in at Fleet Farm here in Winona Saturday morning... Last night by 5pm they were all gone.
