I made a video of one of the guns I shot in Cambodia. I had a little fun with Movie Maker too. :)

I went to Gander Mountain in Rochester on Saturday with the Girl and told her before we went in I told her that if there was a really good deal on something that I want I'm going to get it, thinking that never happens to me. Low and behold we walk in and they are having a sale. All new in stock Glocks for $499.99. I ended up walking out with a G23 with the RTF and I love it. Its perfect for IWB carry and I like that it can be converted to a 9mm with just a barrel and mag change. Great gun for the money.

Woot. The PD called today, I now have a permit to purchase (after I go pick it up). Now I just need to decide on exactly what to get. SIG's are pretty much my focus.

Well, thanks to CVD it didn't take long to make a decision. We met up at the range and spent some time shooting. After lunch I did some browsing and a little comparing. I "pulled the trigger" on something I liked. I now own a SIG Sauer P225. So far I haven't even shot it yet. But it had a feature I liked and the price was as good as I had seen so I picked it up.

It was hard to get a perfect picture, but the three green dots are the sights. I may not know where the target is but I certainly know where my gun is pointed! (they show up much better to the eye than the camera shows) SIGLITE night sights.

The P225 is no longer made but Bill's had a few left over. The replacement P229 is a bit lighter but I liked the way the P225 shot so I picked it up.

Thanks!

If I am disappointed, I have determined the solution to the problem is an another one (P226). I'm going to try and make it to Bill's after work tomorrow to get a few rounds off.
