Well i made an adapter line and somehow lost the union fitting I picked up on sunday, so tomorrow I will have to grab that before i drop the motor in.
Today I got off my lazy behind and did the bsek and t-belt job by myself.

This is how you get bearings out:

All that is left is to get that union and snug the brake lines, delete the ABS lines (electrical sensors), swap AC compressors, drop trans and engine in, do a filter change on the trans and fill fluids and I should be off.

So I wanted to add this FYI:
I paid $200 for this awd unseen, I have sold $80 of parts off it so far and I just got $82 for the cat off the parts car. Tomorrow i will take the one off the auto, then I will have a sweet $40 automagic dsm.

Price of cats must be up again. Imagine having to knock those bearings out with the motor still in the car.. That was a fun hour or so cramped up in the wheel well. Looks like your making good progress so far! Keep it up!

So I got the accessories on, had to go to 2 different O'reillys to NOT get an axle ended up getting a 5 spd lifetime one from NAPA.
I made 3 trips to O'reillys for the right brake union, picked up a battery and terminals too.
Apart from that motor is on the hoist, TQ converter is sitting with fluid and trans is ready to be attached.
My garage is a fricken mess and I can't stand it, but hopefully it will be over soon once this car is running.

The left corner square by the garage door is taken up completely by parts.
Hopefully tomorrow is the day and I can relax and enjoy my small investment, I can't lie I really have the itch to go fast and it won't be from weight reduction.

Looking good. This thing will be nuts when its up and running. I better not ride in it or I'll have to do an auto swap.

Well, the car is 100% together its on jackstands for the initial startup.
sadly we think the pump is dead, have 12V all teh way to the pump when cranking, MFI relay works.
SO basically once I get a pump I can see where I am at, another failure is that my line wrenches aren't able to do the job, so hopefully some vice grips will solve teh problem come monday.

Looks like a nice project for sure! I can't wait to get started on my 2g auto build! Unfortunately mine will take much longer. But I just picked up this shell with 50k original miles, and....WHITE!
