Yay I hit some descent numbers without blowin a trans!
496hp
519 Torque
Fp Green 35 psi
Great numbers.
What about teh 27ish other people?
Had a great time! Super well put together event as usual, happy to have some dyno jet numbers as well.
I made 523 with 12.3 afrs and some knock at 33 psi, gotta get to the track again this year and see what she traps compared to the 455 on DB's dyno yeilding 128 traps.

Thanks to everyone who was involved in setting this up and running it, as well as everyone who volunteered to help out. Also, thanks to 'Style for the awesome $100 gift certificate I won! It will most likely get used at DB Performance on an e-85 tune for me once I get the new turbo on.
The best I ended up putting down was 334whp and 297wtq. A little less than I was expecting, but with the turbo on it's way out I guess I can't be too disappointed. I'm kinda surprised at the difference in the way this dyno reads and the way DB's dyno reads. At DB the last time I dynoed, I put down 305whp (about a 10% difference) and only 255wtq (about a 16% difference). Granted the last time I was at DB was over a year ago, but I thought the % differences would be more even between whp and wtq.

Thanks again to all the sponsors and members that made this happen, and thank you MAP for hosting us! This event was put on FOR FUN and I think most everyone that was there had a blast! It got to be a long day but in the end everyone that wanted to run got to and I saw a ton of smiles all day. I didn't get a TON of pics as usual since I was constantly trying to find cars to get into the queue for the dyno and keep everyone happy. I know I had more than a few moments where people asked me how many cars had gone or how many were left or how much the last car put down on the dyno and I just threw my arms up with no idea, SO sorry if I was short with ya. Honestly the list just kept growing and growing so the schedule of who was going on when had to change with it. I will say I feel really bad about the non-mitsus dyno'ing mid-day and then getting the evoX's get pushed back so far. Thanks everyone for hanging out and being so cool!
With that said, I think we're going to continue to optimize how we run this event to try and make it as smooth sailing for everyone as possible! I have had a few volunteers step up and I think I'm going to fully utilize them come next spring.
Quick question: was anyone super pissed/let down that we ran out of food? It seems like if we do not sell all of what we have we (mitsustyle as a whole) lose money on the whole food thing. This year we actually turned a relatively decent profit ($51 LOL) and this money goes straight back into the community here, so LMK if anyone has any pro/con comments there.
Anyways, onto the results:

Mark Leasure with the first DSM on the rollers took the trophy w/ his massive-turbo'd 1G...787whp/589wtq!...I didn't get a very good look at the car but it seemed fairly streetable...Nice work man:

Mark had trouble earlier in the week but miraculously got it together to lay down a run @37psi. Blackrosenova also canceled the same day as mark with a blown tranny, but showed up as well laying down some impressive numbers (497whp)! The last surprise was Oleg's 2G, which was out of the running due to ignition break-up but could have snagged Mark's trophy since he pulled it together and got it on the rollers around 7pm with what? SOME ZIP TIES. Damn I love DSMs. He put down a staggering 570whp at a mere 26psi.
Other top dyno-dawgs were the 3 stock-frame turbo'd evos putting down ~500whp and the vette and supra that showed up...beautiful cars, also right around 500whp.
I don't know if anyone saw, but there was a Silverado that went on the rollers right away in the morning that had one of those electric superchargers on it...if you're on here, post up some info about that beast! :)
DSM Pull-off this time we used lil Andy Nash's FWD 1G with great success, and Mike Blageo and Kerry Eldstrom(95talonracer) pulled off a show-stopping 8.79 ET. Nice work guys!

Next dyno day is in May 2010, see you guys there!

Thanks for a fun day! My hp is down quite a bit due to something I don't know about yet, but it doesn't matter much, the car still runs! :)

Same here. 414/459 @ 26-28 falling to 22 psi the last dyno day, and now only like 394/425 or something at a flat 28-29psi all the way through the pull.

Edited my last post. And I wasn't really too upset that the food ran out, however I was hoping to get a hot dog later in the day, but they were all gone. Again, not a big deal though. I still had a pretty good time :)

Here's the sheet MAP printed off. The tach signal to the dyno kept falling off mid-pull so this was the best they could give me.

One run on pump was 430whp, I'll have to get that one out of them. The car performed very consistent, I'm very happy with the setup now, specifically my boost control setup. I didn't have error correction on when I was at DB last time as we were dialing it in for the tune and then I dialed in boost correction on the street to make it as perfect as I could. As a result, I compared logs and am running about 1psi less on this dyno session (on pump gas) than I was at shane's. Not a huge difference, but notable I guess. It's almost exactly how I run it on the street so I'm happy :) AFR's 11.0 spot on.
On the alky map boost seemed almost spot on with how I run it on the street. Timing was about 1-2° lower than my 432whp tune at DB, I'm guessing due to the different loading characteristics of the dyno. I also changed out my brandX meth 50/50 mix with VP M1 mixed 75/25 with water, so AFRs went from ~11.8 to ~11.3. I will be switching back to 50/50 I think. It was worth a shot but it didn't help me on the street or on the dyno at all.
Overall I'm happy, the car is consistent and running strong. I would have liked to get closer to or break 500 but meh, last minute changes FTL, plus my luck sucks so I'll never be the guy who magically makes extra power. ;) I'm NOT pushing the setup hard so maybe next year push the turbo and timing a lil more to fill the gap b/w me and the FP red guys running 33-35psi and making 515-520whp :)

I would have loved to put my car up on the dyno, but money is tighter then I'd like it to be, so I had to bow out, hence not signing up. I hope next year I can add numbers to the board.

Same here, at least you got to drive yours there. And sorry for giving ya shit about not racing your car haha, didn't even introduce myself.
