CORNFED2.4 I was actually going to look at your pictures to see where you put your over flow tank.

ok sounds like the 2 issues I ran into our solved. Also I have sheides old overflow from his rolled evo. Its a little smaller but still isnt secured by any means.

Can't you just take out the nuts holding the manifold on, back the manifold off an inch to slip a nut on the threads then put it back on? I think that's what some X guys have to do with their tubular mani's.

The problem isn't getting the nut on its that the stud is so long that it will hit the manifold when I tighten the nuts down...

Can I just cut it? I would think that if I cut it that the nut wouldnt go on?

Make sure you put the nut on the stud first before you cut it. That way when you back the nut off the stud it will help fix the threads if they aren't perfect. I've always smoothed the edges of the stud a little bit before backing off the nut.

I think you were right. Are set ups are identical for bolt on's. The only thing is I have the 2.4. Proving grounds will be fun this year, Im just suprised I guess there were only a few 2g's around. When you getting tuned?
