it WAS back on the road, till this damn bracket broke! And, no I have a helmet, it's just that the fricken stock tach throws me for a loop, and the other one is too far outta my line of sight when i am trying to stare at the road..

Good luck with the bracket, maybe someone here can weld it for you?
I say for the shift light, just duct tape the bitch to the dash after you go through tech just so you can run, then move it where ever after this weekend. Good luck on making a pass this weekend.

Just get it welded swifty, ask brent rau or the primo guys. One of them should do it for you in a pinch.

Yeah their old style aluminum brackets break ALL the time. Usually they'll send you a new steel one. Just have a local shop weld it up quick while jayracing ships you a new one.

if it's not one thing, it's something little and dumb like this that gets in the way of me just making a fucking pass!

Primo welded up the new bracket, and I got it all back together. I still need to call Jay and get the replacement bracket he said he'd warranty. I also wired the alt. to the batt correctly so now when you flip the batt cut off switch, car dies instantly. I then also moved the pillar gauges, and tach over to the "ricer" position on the dash, so atleast now I can see the damn thing, especially when wearing a helmet. Perhaps tomorrow I'll fine tune the 2-step, and go do a few street pulls. We'll see.
