Ice Season!

Well I just ran my first ice race ( I'm still struggling to get the terminology down) today. Just like the autox setup except its a much larger more open track. Saw speeds up around 70 and down around 25. My friend from school let me drive his 92 Talon that we recently went through and redid a lot of things. I think total we put around 28 laps on that car today, and it didn't flinch once. Great car, a lot of fun. Anyways, here's the pics I took:

My other friends also came, one owning the red 318ti. He was running faster than the awd's even!

Then of course, on my 3rd run I came in just a little too hot from 70 on the back straight and plowed sideways into the pile on the side. Ended up losing the door molding on my little offroad excursion:

My g/f took one video and I'll post that up when it's done uploading to youtube. There should be more pics in the next few days.

EDIT: Here's the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PoMapo4aXfA

Sorry, no in-car. Totally spaced on that when I was out enjoying myself. lol Next weekend hopefully.
