" More aggressive exhaust note during deceleration. More pops, snaps, and burbles during closed throttle de-celerations and between shifts. "
Ha, they are trying to sell that as a feature.

Stage 2 PCM
682 cc/min Fuel Injectors
Wastegate Actuator
3.0 bar MAP Sensor
3.0 bar TIP Sensor
Is that all you get? "* Turbo Toys are an optional feature for this kit" so that stuff isn't even included?

Yes thats whats included, and the "Turbo Toys" is an option.
I think I want just the Base kit for the PCM, injectors and sensors, but they make the boost control and octane switch sound sooo cool.
LMAO
Now I know what the MSRP on this is, and it seems quite hi to me.
If you get the turb toys, the PCM is programmed for it, so it really cant be added later. I think the octane switch is bad as hell, not that I would use it often....
You know mopar did that awhile back with stock PCMs in the GLHS i hear... But it wasnt a switch, turn the key on for 15 secs before starting the car, and it would go to a more agressive programming.

Why do they give you a new actuator... wouldn't a boost controller work just fine?

The stock actuators on the SRT-4 turbos are very very weak. They can't hold higher boost levels, you can buy an upgraded one from AGP turbo also.

Yes, i have a modified AGP WGA already... and yes its still a neon.
Anyone else care to say what they HONOSTLY think this should cost... Neon or not, you have to have an idea of what 4 new injecotrs, new performance PCM and 2 sensors are worth...

Id have to guess because I drive a SRT.....
And that you guys drive turbo vehicles also, that I respect, that I have interest in.
But apparently the world revolves around DSMs? LOL
I like hearing about new things, and learning about new things... dont you? :toast:

Sure, its a DSM forum, but of course there are always going to be different people with different cars. Its like rolling up to a parkinglot full of hondas... they'll prob still respect you even if you dont have a honda ;-)
Anyway, SRT-4's are pretty damn badass... I mean shit, we talk about non-dsm cars aka 3G / future 4G, women, jokes, problems; why cant we talk about SRT-4s as well?
Sorry about getting off topic though... perhaps you could try tuner's buying guide and work from base prices there.

Well, i just found a low price for the base kit to be about 800$ and a low price for the upgraded kit to be about 1395$.
I guess the MSPR is 999$ and 1599$ respectively. Supposedly dealer cost on the upgrade stage 2 with turbo toys is $1297 so I dont see it going for less than that.
I think the base kit will suffice, and the money saved from the turbo toys pick up a huge FMIC from AGP. :3gears:
Now figure, stage 1 that comes with a PCM and injectors goes for about 350$ (already have it so i could sell it) and a WGA cost about $100-150$ so that leaves the MAP and TIP sensors to be a cost of about $300 together... Does that seem a bit high?

That price doesn't seem too bad. For a dsm, injecotrs $350, Safc $300 (new), if we needed one WGA $100, 2g MAS setup $100. That brings a dsm to about $850. But you still get your warranty as it is a factory upgrage = PRICELESS
