Yea Ive never done the downshift when your supposed to upshift, maybe that is becuase of your tip ryan- I dont grip the shifter I just tap it in with my palm and pull it back with my fingers. Never thought about that.
Hope its just the valvetrain, and maybe the bottom end is ok... yea when you rip it up get some pics
