Re: Confederate flag, yes or no?

If the states/governments see it as a part of their history in a positive way, not in the way it's been twisted to mean, they should fly it if they so choose. It hurts no one.

and they are choosing to take it down. The federal government is not making them take it down, the people are stating their opinion to take them down.

True. But why? Because of the moral majority or the lunatic fring? I live in the south. It's not flown here to promote slavery, it's just a southern pride thing. And no, I don't fly one

If you were to take a vote here in south carolina it would come.out that as a state we want it to continue fly.(I personally dont count because im from new york and care less about the confederate flag., the issue in Irvin California on the other hand really pissed me off, that was the first time heard about it)
However because of the few who are making it into the media
Nikkei Haley is feeling the pressure to take it down.

Its once again those who speak up are the ones who are getting there way. However through fear of retaliation for the most part no one is standing up for it to stay flying.

Its why you'll seems people who live off Medicare and welfare. Are the loudest and quickest to speak up when there lively hood is threatened. Its also why this country is going down hill to many people are afraid to stand up for what's right. And Most decent people who have to work and actually contribute to society have to much to do, to actually take on more, by standing up for what's right.
And those that dont have to work and get everything handed to them have the freedom all day to do as they please.

Its again why I pray rand paul gets elected. His father stated once. Something along the lines of. America was founded on the principle of hard work. Nothing is handed.to you. And he believes that same principle needs to be brought back to this country
